F Wahroonga is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is located in the Upper North Shore area, and is about 20 kilometers north-west of Sydney CBD. Most of Wahroonga lies within the Ku-ring-gai local government area, and partly in the Shire of Hornsby. Many houses in Wahroonga are set on 1000sqm plus land with a few on over 5000sqms. House prices in the East Side of the train line is often substantially higher than those in the West Side. With the further expansion of Sydney the suburban development of Wahroonga has become more densely settled. Wahroonga is home to private schools Knox Grammar School and Abbotsleigh as well as several other schools. Wahroonga also has a state primary school, Wahroonga Public School, commonly known as "The Bush School".
